A few months ago, I found myself with a few hours free every night, with everyone else in the house asleep. After upgrading computers, painting bathrooms, etc, one day I found my old Gameboy and fixed the screen and put a new speaker in. Now this is my original one from 23 years ago that I’ve lugged this whole time.<\/p>\n
Fast forward a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n
I get bored reading or listening to podcasts on the train every day and grabbed the gameboy. It had Tetris in it (of course), so I played it on the train and it was everything I thought it could be. Trips go by quickly (only missed my stop once), and all comments are positive.<\/p>\n
So I had to figure out how to decide when to move on to another game. I made up an arbitrary way of “beating” it that I thought would take a while (it did) and would be satisfying (it was) and a good way to decide when to “move on” as it were.
